Rides for Everyone : Tea at the Palace. Sunday 31st May.

Meet outside Barnes Station North side 1.30 pm.

A short afternoon ride mostly on quiet road and traffic -free paths enjoying excellent views of the Thames.

We start from Barnes (common) station and turn past the WWT site to get to the Thames bank which we follow to get to Putney Bridge. On the other side we turn left into the Gardens of Fulham Bishops Palace for a teastop in the cafe.

After the break we follow a quietway to Hammersmith Bridge (now open to pedestrians and cyclists) and mostly quiet roads back to the station.

Bring a lock for the stop at Fulham Palace ; a pump to suit your tyres is useful.

Children welcome but must be accompanied and have some experience of riding on roads.
