Come to Kew EcoFair!

At Richmond Cycling Campaign, we are delighted to be taking part in the very first Kew EcoFair at St Luke’s Church, Kew on Saturday March 11th (10:30am – 2pm).

The aim of the event is to inspire local residents to take action on climate change in their everyday lives.
The event will be officially opened by the Mayor of Richmond Cllr Julia Cambridge, alongside broadcaster and active travel advocate Jeremy Vine.
RCC will have a stand showcasing different bikes (especially cargo bikes), along LCC’s Cycle Buddies scheme, and London Cycle Workshop in Sheen will be doing free bike ‘health checks’.
We will also be holding a second-hand ‘bike bits’ stall – please do donate your unneeded, good condition ‘bike bits’ – think gloves, old phone cases, baskets, bike tools, inner tubes for bikes you no longer have … the list is endless! Contact Tim or Charlotte to arrange collection, or bring to the next RCC meeting.
And do come along on the day – there is something for everyone at the event – more than a dozen local eco-businesses and sustainability-focused organisations, as well as a Repair Cafe, Clothes Swap, childrens’ activities, refreshments, eco-songs by Kew Community Choir and a ‘wishing tree’ with amazing mystery prizes from local businesses!
